Lovely photo of two daughters of Alfonso XIII, King of Spain Alfonso XII was the son of : King of Spain Alfonso XII Infant of Spain and Archduchess von Austria Maria Christina He reigned from 1886 – 1931. Alfonso married Princess Victoria Eugénie of Battenberg, granddaughter of Queen Victoria of Great Britain.

After the municipal elections of 1931 showed an overwhelming republican majority, Alfonso “suspended the exercise of royal power” and went into exile. A few weeks before his death in Rome he renounced his claim to the throne in favor of his third son. The photo shows his 2 daughters. Postcard size, writing of a Royal Family member at back.
