The image depicts a double decker, flown by Franz Zeno Diemer (1889 – 1954), who was a flight pioneer in Bavaria, setting a number of world records, and Flight Officer for Bavarian Lifeguard Regiment. The sender was a soldier of the Bavarian Sanity Company # 15. Field Post Number: 948. Sent to Munich. Published by the East-Prussia War Aid Organization in 1916. Unused postcard in very fine condition.
