Bamboo leave-décor at the reverse. 2 spots from hanging (?) at the upper and lower margin, a few minor uneven dots from the processing of glazing. It looks very attractive though with it’s typical Qing Dynasty blue.

Authentic, antique Chinese rosewood cigarette box made of rosewood. Both sides are decorated with images of antiques, coins and Chinese characters. At the inner part is still a wax seal from the Chinese customs authorities, giving permission to export, as it is over 100 years old. We bought it in China in the 1970s. The box is in very pleasing condition. There are no faults. The cigarette box has been in use, some minor scratches only. Size: 3,8 x 3,5 x 0,6 inches.
