Unique mid-20th Century designed jewelry with a stunning color combination by Matisse of California--bright cherry red enamel on a shiny copper metal.

This company began business in 1952 in California by Jerry Fels. Necklace and matching earrings are all signed Matisse.

Highly collectible jewelry, with a butterfly design. Copper enamelled sections are overlaid with an intricate copper piece.

Necklace measures 17 inches in length with adjustable hook and chain closure. The clip style earrings measure nearly two inches long.

Condition very good with exception of one very small nick in the copper on one necklace link. Not a distraction for this wonderful designer set.
