Matisse "Reverse R" Necklace(s) - Red or White

1950's copper enamel necklace(s), are unsigned Matisse pieces, as shown on page 124 of the book "Copper Art Jewelry" by Matthew Burkholz and Linda Kaplan. Called the "Reverse R" design. (See photo in ref. book).

Each necklace has a hook and chain closure and measures 18 inches long. Each link consists of a copper enamelled section on the bottom, overlaid with a shiny copper piece in a reverse R.

Condition of the red necklace is very good, with exception of small chips to the back of a few of the enamelled links, and it has a silver hook.

Recently purchased a second necklace in this wonderful design with white enamelled links. It is in very good condition. Would look great with Matisse white enamelled earrings.
