Cute pair of vintage Christmas ornaments, circa 1950, but no markings. Possibly made in Japan.

The elf has a red felt hat, hand painted face and white felt pointed collar. His body consists of shiny red and silver plastic disks, alternating with small gold glass balls. His feet and hands end with silver bells.

Second ornament is a snowman wearing a black top hat, and it has a painted face and grey polka dotted felt collar. His body has gold glass balls that alternate with small white felt disks. Feet and hands end in bells.

Condition is good, but gently worn. Red elf has a little wear to gold balls, but has his original gold thread for hanging to the tree.

Snowman's body is very good, but the back of his head is a little dirty and could probably be cleaned, since it is plastic. He has a white thread attached for hanging, that is not original.

Each measures about 10 inches long.

Very unique and vintage looking ornaments.
