Vintage 40s Chocolate Brown Curly Lamb Fur Cape Stole S

Rich color, fabulous texture and a noir-ish, boxy-shouldered cut make this chocolate brown 1940s curly lamb fur cape a standout vintage garment. Even better, its high neck means it offers real warmth as well as style.

Lined in a luscious matching crepe with attached arm loops (so you can also wear it tossed over your shoulders), the cape closes with 3 furrier hooks and has a hidden pocket inside (see photo #7). Label reads “Farwell Fur Shop, Salem, Mass, Ora Farwell Sullivan”.

Though there is some range in the sizing of a cape like this, I believe this to best suited to a modern 4-8. Exact measurements are: Shoulders 16.5”, bust to 36”, circumference at neck closure 18”, neck-to-hem length 29”. Very good to excellent condition, with just a hint of color fade to the lining.
