SALE Vintage 40s/50s Regal Wide Tie "Telos" Greek Key Design

Named for a Greek mythological character, this bold yet classic late 40s/early 50s wide tie from Regal will rev up your suited looks. (Telos was the nephew of the man that educated god Zeus during his upbringing on Crete; it is currently one of the Greek Islands).

52" long and 4" across at the widest point, the tie features a yellow jacquard ground with diagonal black, cream, and navy stripes done in the repeating "Greek key border" design so commonly seen on classical friezes, columns, etc.

Back of tie is printed with "The Telos Tie"; there are also two labels, one reading "Regal, Reg US Pat Off," and the other reading "E.E. McMeen & Co., Lewistown, PA". No fabric labels; appears to be a silky rayon. Excellent condition.
