In the tradition of the “peekaboo” or “girlie” tie, this vintage mid-to-late 50s black silk example conceals a racy-yet-romantic surprise underneath the tip of its blade: The heart-framed silhouette of a buxom pin-up gal, as well as an inscription stating “You are Always in my Heart”. Printed with pairs of love letters and cupid’s arrows (in cream and light brown) to underscore the amorous theme, the tie has no labels and measures 57” long and 2 ¾” across the blade. Good condition with three tiny pinholes at the tip (see photo #4 for a closeup), but no other flaws and a very handsome presentation overall.
