Vintage 40s Cream Silk Asian-Inspired Dragon Embroidery Pajamas

Vintage early 40s Asian-inspired pajamas in cream silk feature 3 fabulous hand-embroidered dragons: One on the side of each pajama leg near the hem, and a larger one on the left front of the pajama top. The colors of the floss used are: Brown, sage green, coral and pale pink, and shades of pale to cobalt blue. Zigzag embroidery in purple thread accents the hem of each pajama leg, and there is also an embroidered accent on the patch pocket of the top.

Top closes with shell buttons (top one of which appears to be a replacement); pajama waistband is elasticized. No labels of any kind; measurements are as follows: Top bust 40”, shoulders approx 15” (no shoulder seam; sleeve is cut in one piece with front/back), waist 40”, and length 24”; bottom waist 28” unstretched, hip 46”, inseam 21”, and length 34”. Excellent condition.
