Vintage late 50s to early 60s day dress from Nancy Greer in a silky nylon or acetate crepe combines rich autumn hues with polished yet comfortable shirtwaist styling. The print features silhouetted brown roses on a ground of abstract color patches in pale taupe, mocha, rust and gold. Shirtwaist bodice (notched lapel collar and placket lined with 3 pairs of diagonally placed gold buttons with black centers) flows into the gently knife-pleated full skirt. Sleeves are bracelet length with two-button cuffs, and a hook-and-eye and snap combination secures the waist.

Label reads “Nancy Greer, New York”; no size or fabric content tags. Measurements are: Bust 38”, shoulders 16”, waist 28”, hips free, sleeves 19”, bodice length 17.5”, and overerall length 44”. Excellent condition.
