Vintage late 40s boxy swing jacket from Brookshire in a weave of slate, khaki, and white has buttonless, clutch-front styling with peaked lapels; cuffed full sleeves; and, in place of hip pockets on either side, three decorative tabs secured with large, pearly grey lucite buttons. Unlined.

Label reads “Tailored by Brookshire”, with the Brookshire, NY logo. No size or fabric content tags; fabric appears to be a subtly ribbed rayon, or possibly a rayon/wool blend. Measurements are: Bust (with placket “closed”) 44”, shoulders 17”, waist 44”, sleeves 23 1/2”, and length 25”. Very good vintage condition, with no stains, tears, etc; only issue is broken center button on right side (see photo #4).
