Vintage 50s Jerry Gilden Poppy Print Sheer Shirtwaist Dress

As feminine as can be, this vintage 50s shirtwaist style dress from Jerry Gilden in a sheer cotton or cotton-blend is splashed with a gorgeous poppy print in red and brown on an ivory ground. The short-sleeved bodice has peaked labels, bust darts, and hidden button placket; full skirt is gently pleated all around. Labelled “Jerry Gilden NY”, the measurements are: Bust 35”, shoulders 14 ½”, waist 27”, hips free, bodice length 17 ½”, and overall length 42”. Very good condition, with 2 vertical pulls just above right back waistline (see photo #7).
