Vintage early 50s rayon tie from Cheney Cravats features a maple leaf print in grey, yellow, and white on a cranberry ground. Reflecting the boundless creativity and enterprise of “Bold Look” era neckwear manufacturers, the label indicates that this tie hails from Cheney’s “Gems of American Forestry” series. A second store label reads “Bert Fox, 3409 Lawrence Ave Chicago”. Lined in sheer white satin, the tie measures 49” long and 4” across the blade. Excellent condition.
