1921 Vintage Ham & Sam Minstrels - Early Strauss Wind-up Toy

Vintage "Ham & Sam - The Minstrel Team” wind-up toy features one playing a piano and the other a banjo. Ferdinand Strauss Toy Corporation, New York name and logo is on the back. (Louis Marx worked for Strauss before he founded the Louis Marx Company in 1919.) Also marked patented by UAM Co., Oct. 1921. Measures 7 ½" high x 8" long.

The piano tin lithography is in exceptionally good condition. Both Ham & Sam also have good color. No major scratches or paint loss. All joints and parts are intact. Light rusting on underside of parts. Very, very slight rusting of some joint pins.
