Vintage 1930s Boston Massachusetts real photo stereoscope aerial view (from 800 feet) of the 221-foot American Revolution landmark Bunker Hill Monument - actually located on Breed's Hill in Charlestown - with Boston Harbor in the background. The Charles River is to the left & the Mystic River to the left. Although known as the Battle of Bunker Hill, most of the June 17, 1775 battle actually took place on Breed's Hill. Back has descriptive text on Bunker Hill & Boston Harbor.

Curve mounted view #34117 published by Keystone View Company of Meadville PA; New York City; Chicago, Illinois; and London. Copyright is undated. View probably dates to the 1930s.

3-D EFFECT: The 3-D effect, particularly of the Bunker Hill monument and surrounding buildings in the foreground, is exceptional.

PHOTO NOTE: The actual images appear to be albumen (sepia toned) real photos that are clean, crisp, sharp and in good condition - the actual images are MUCH sharper through a stereoviewer than they appear in the scanned images. Small age-related surface scratches and wear marks are accentuated by the scanning process and are almost completely imperceptible in the viewer. The slight brown cast to the distant sky appears to be original to the photo. The extreme lower border of the right image shows slight shredding that can be seen through the stereoviewer, but is not distracting.

CONDITION NOTE: Card is in very fine condition with no tears or creases. There is a small spot of paper loss on the last three letters of "harbor" in the front-side caption.
