Circa 1907 Keystone New York City stereoview from the Brooklyn docks across the East River to Manhattan's Lower East Side waterfront and steamship company docks including those of the Mallory Line steamship company (1866-1932), engaged in coast trade (sign readable under magnification.)

At the rear is the lower Manhattan skyline shrouded in fog; and in the center, one of New York harbor's famous ferries.

PHOTO NOTE: The photo images are clean, crisp, sharp and in very good condition - in the viewer the images are much sharper than they appear in the scanned image. Tiny surface scratches, nicks and rubbing around the edges are accentuated by the scanning process and are imperceptible in the viewer. The darkness on the left side image appears to be the result of a cloud passing, rather than any subsequent discoloration of the photo itself.

3-D EFFECT: The 3-D effect of the Brooklyn docks and ferry against the lower Manhattan skyline is pronounced.
