Downtown Seattle Washington real photo stereo view by Keystone - Second Avenue from Yester Way circa 1920. Second Avenue is filled with the hustle and bustle of period street cars, "Model T" vehicles and people.

In 1920 Seattle Washington was already considered a major American city, having grown to 350, 000 people from 1,000 people in 1870. Located on Elliot Bay (a section of Puget Sound), it was one of only a handful of major cities on the west coast.

Nice images of early "Model T" cars - but street cars still outnumber the automobiles! Notice also the "cow catcher" on the oncoming street car - errant pedestrians and horses are still a problem- knocks them out of the way rather than run over them!

PHOTO NOTE: The photo images are very clean, crisp, sharp and in exceptional condition - with only slight surface wear noticeable in scans - much better than they appear in the the scanned image - as if it just came out of the box.
