Vintage Stoneware Jug - Two Gallon - Dark Brown Color

Vintage dark brown stoneware 2-gallon jug 12" high x 9" diameter. Not signed or marked, but muted browns in the glaze on this piece are very nice. The pictures do not do it justice.

No cracks; and no chips in the jug finish; some bubble blemishes and holes in the glazing. Small chips on the rim of the jug opening as shown, confirming its age and years of service, are the only "defects".

Not flashy, but a very nice decorative piece.
