Vintage 1/6 plate daguerreotype of elderly woman in untied white bonnet (circa 1850s) in wonderful floral design leather covered case. Interior is near pristine with gold matting & trim; and red velvet front. Back spine has separated. Two front clasps are intact & in good repair. Size of case is 3-5/8" by 3-1/8" ; the daguerreotype is some what smaller. I am told the spots on are on the front glass, which can be replaced for under $50.
