This is a gorgeous hand painted Nippon lidded urn featuring gold moriage dragonware on a rainbow colored background. The moriage on the dragon is not as thick as some but it done in the gold beading with a thicker raised oval dots border in the marbled light pink and green. The eyes are realistic and have black dotted pupils. Absolutely stunning. Measuring 11 1/2" tall to the top of the knob on the lid, the moriage is in excellent condition.
