This wonderful solid glass doorstop or figure was produced using the Westmoreland mold #78. Originally produced in the 1930's by Westmoreland, it was then produced by Summit Glass for Rosso (limited production), and later (and presently) produced by the Mosser glass company ( also limited production). This is an unbelievable piece of vintage art glass possibly Murano in origin. Measuring 26" long, 21" wide and 5" tall, the bowl is in great condition. A few minor rubs to back. There is some lines in the glass in the very center. I am going to cal it veining as it looks just like the veins in an leaf. Not sure if it from the blowing or from age. It really looks pretty cool. Really a wonderful one of a piece of glass.
