Andrew Spingarn's pieces are made in both precious and Costume metals, this heavy well made butterfly is a vintage piece which has hand blown glass pieces in it! According to Mr. Spingarns website one of his specialties was his use of hand made glass stones and beads, made at his own glass workshop. Using traditional methods, made famous by French designer Coco Chanel and by Murano artisans for centuries, Andrew's studio fashioned colorful and unique lampworked beads. This butterfly is typical of his amazing work, flawless to be precise. an impressive 2 inches wide and around 1.4 inches long, there are no chips, cracks, missing plating nothing!~ The best example you will EVER find!
