One of the highlights of my travels was my good fortune in seeing the Book of Kells at Trinity college in Dublin. The Book is an illustrated manuscript from the 800's which contains the four gospels beautifully illustrated. The intricate illustrations are exceptionally beautiful and moving. Seeing the book drives home the point that Art can be a form of worship.

This pendant is highlighted by a Kell Dragon Concho. It is deeply etched and a wonderful image of a dragon with Celtic knot details. The bail is silver plated and has a 7MM opening. It measures 1 5/8 inches or 42 MM by 1 1/4 inches or 32 MM. It is ready for your collar necklace, chain, or leather. Each of these pendants are hand made, so there may be minor variations in yours.
