“Apache Paint” Western Style Necklace

A Cripple Creek picture jasper cabochon is reminiscent of the scenery found in Apache territory. Below that is another jasper shield shaped cab which looks to me like a painted pony. All metal components in this piece are Hills tribe silver or sterling silver with the exception of the pins holding the bail on. The stone beading is composed of heishi style orange fossil beads with Sterling silver spacer beads and hills tribe silver focal beads.

The overall length of the necklace is 16 ¾ inches. The pendant portion is 3 ¼ inches by 1 3/8 inches or 83 MM X 35 MM. The necklace is closed with a sterling silver t-bar clasp. This piece looks perfect with jeans or western wear.
