Start with a vintage Japanese satsuma button (probably from the 1940's is my guess.) Add to that the look and feel of warm blood wood which is highlighted with golden painted details. Then also add six 7mm orange colored faceted cubic zirconium beads with detailed bead caps within the chain. There is also a dangle with an additional CZ bead and chains.

The earrings are made to look just like the dangle and the hook portion is hypoallergenic. Finish with a filigree butterfly pressed into service as the bail and you have a particularly striking vintage looking necklace. As with many of the other pieces that use collectable Satsuma buttons, the button is permanently attached, but also removable by drilling out the dowel on the back of the pendant. The button is attached by means of non permanent adhesive and a wire through its shank.

The length of the necklace is 22 inches.The pendant portion is 4 1/2 inches including the dangle.
