This ring is composed of 3 bands of wood. There is Satine, Ash Burl and Zebra wood. We use stainless steel inserts for our rings so there is a much higher strength factor than regular wooden rings. All of my rings now undergo a stabilization process that greatly enhances their durability. However it may be advisable to remove the ring before washing your hands or showering and bathing.
