Description - from the House of DeLizza & Elster comes to you this dripping brooch - decorated w/glitzy crystal aurora borealis rhinestones, in a variety of shapes and sizes, including rounds and marquis, the pièce de résistance of this piece is the cranberry pink beaded topper - attached w/rivets, the cranberry pink beads vibrate w/movement - finished in gold-tone, this piece is quite the masterpiece!

This piece contains a bail as well as a pin assembly and can be worn as either a brooch or a pendant (chain not included).

DeLizza & Elster is known for its quality and superiority of product, as well as an incredible intricacy in design and execution of its jewelry - this piece is no exception.

Measurements - approximately 2.25" round x 0.5" tall - a nice size w/a 3D effect that is sure to get noticed and bring on the compliments.

Dating - c1950-1960.

Markings - unmarked - please see pictures. DeLizza & Elster Jewelry was not marked unless it was made for another "designer", such as Weiss or Tara. D&E jewelry is identified via study and evaluation of several construction characteristics.

Know You are Buying Real D&E - this is a known D&E design, but the construction attributes that mark this set as made by D&E include: prong-set stones, correct pin assembly, correct bail, use of fancy beads, and the riveted attachment of beads.

Condition: Excellent - while this piece does show the expected wear to the AB coating on both the rhinestones and the beads, that wear is minimal and this brooch show little other evidence of age or use - it wears spectacularly! Otherwise, all materials are present, clear, and chip/flake free. The hardware is in fine, working order.
