The hand painted pastel floral design features tiny blue flowers with pink, purple, green and blue highlights. The upturned rim has an embossed pattern and a reticulated design. It has gold at the rim and both the bowl and pedestal are hand painted. It is a white body with a high shine glaze.
It stands 4 ¼" high; measures 7 ½" across the top and 2 ¾" across the base. Both the bowl and pedestal are artist signed, with "V. Augustine '65" on the bowl and "V.A." on the base.
Excellent Condition: no chips, nicks, cracks, crazing or deep scratches.
This attractive compote is very well executed and has wonderful detail, color and balance.
