Welcome! Please ask about our multiple item discounts and flexible Layaway Plan!
The Heinz pickle pins were given away as premiums at the World’s Fair. This pin features the famous figural pickle shape and is made of an early plastic, with a metal pin. The word “Heinz” is moulded across the face and it has amazing detail, with a stem and the characteristic bumps and dimples of a real pickle.
When visiting the Heinz Dome at the 1939-1940 World’s Fair, fairgoers were presented with a free pinback button to remind them of the exhibit.
This piece is from a collection of vintage pinback buttons, many of which are from the 1939-1940 New York World’s Fair. It measures about 1 ¼” across.
Please check our shop for more pinback buttons.
Very Good Condition: no cracks or chips, pin is straight and sharp.
This is a super opportunity to add a fun pin to your collection, so don’t miss out! It would be a great gift for a World’s Fair collector as well as someone who collects advertising memorabilia. We always have a nice selection of vintage goodies in our shop, so please take a look at our offerings. We would be pleased to combine shipping on multiple purchases.
