This stylish teapot has a formal shape, with the high handle and spout, the narrow pedestal, and the square base. Add the famous Lenox gold trim and a detailed gold encrusted design, and you have a stunning item!
The ivory glaze is flawless and the heavy gilding is hand applied. The design features swags of leaves and flowers around the body with a single band of beads above them, topped with tiny circles around the circumference.
Marked “Lenox” with an early mark. This mark was used from 1906-1926 and this pattern was discontinued in 1921. The artist also signed their initials. It measures about 7 ¼” tall and 9 ¼” long from the handle to the spout. The base is almost 3 ¼” square.
Excellent Condition: no cracks, chips, stains, heavy scratches or crazing. There is some minor gold wear, mostly on the handle and spout. There is also minor loss to the gold decoration, but it retains 90+%.
This is a wonderful teapot, and it is perfect for use or display. It would be a super addition to any table or collection! Now is the time to consider adding an outstanding piece to your set or to purchase a gift for a special person.
We are offering lots more vintage goodies, so please take a look through our shop. We would be pleased to combine shipping on multiple purchases.
