Vintage Sterling Silver & Prong Set Rhinestone Bib Necklace

This wonderful vintage rhinestone bib necklace is beautifully crafted, using the highest quality rhinestones and sterling silver.

It has an understated air of elegance. The rhinestones are mine cut and very high quality, showing lots of fire and reflection. Each stone is individually prong set in sterling silver, and the links and clasp are also sterling silver. It was easily a 'top of the line' piece when it was crafted.

The clasp is clearly marked sterling. There are no cloudy or discolored (“sick”) rhinestones and the clasp works fine. It is complete, and our pictures just don’t do justice to the look of this necklace!

It measures 16” long. The strands of rhinestones on the bib front range from ¾” long (for the 3-stone strands) to 2 ½” long on the center strand.

We date this quality piece to about 1900 to 1920. With its elegant look, it is certain to become a highly prized addition to any wardrobe. It would be a perfect gift for a special person!
