Up for sale is this awesome book with 16 prints of art work done by V. Van Gogh, it has a copyright of 1952. It is in great condition and the picture are in full color, Vincent van Gogh was born on March 30, 1853 in Zundert, a town in the southern Netherlands, even though Van Gogh only sold one painting during his life time he was probably most known for his mental illness. When he was of 35, on Christmas Eve of 1888, Van Gogh cut off a part of his left ear, and shortly afterwards he was commited to an asylum and then on July 27, 1890 he shot himself and two days later he died. He is considered a post-Impressionist painter. Van Gogh is now considered one of the greatest Dutch painters since Rembrandt. This is a great collection of his work and would make a great collectors book. It is 15” tall and 11 ¼” wide and 1/2” thick and weighs 1 lb.
