Boxed Set 1950s Holiday Paper Place Settings - Christmas Napkins, Coasters, Placemats

This is a 48-piece holiday hostess table set from the 1950s by Hoffmaster of Oshkosh Wisconsin. Included are 12 each paper place mats, cellulose dinner napkins, cellulose cocktail napkins, and cellulose coffee coasters. The design features a carriage style street lamp decorated with holly and red bow against a red brick background. The placemats have the addition of snow-topped pine boughs and the phrase Seasons Greetings. The set is complete and unused in its original box. The box cover has two splits on the flaps, otherwise it's in good condition. The box has a patent number that dates to 1956.

Included with the hostess set is a bonus package of vintage Roylace paper lace Christmas doilies. They have a barcode on the back of the package, which, along with the text and original drugstore price sticker, dates them to the 1970s or early 1980s. The package is unopened and contains 18 six-inch doilies.

Although the items are unused and clean, the set is being sold as a collector item only - you probably will not want to serve your guests with paper napkins and placemats that have been stored away for 50-plus years.
