SOLD 1950s Universal Statuary 3-D Ceramic Chalkware Mallard Wall Plaque

This Mid-Century chalk plaster wall hanging is a little over 8" square and features a dimensional mallard duck figure in flight centered in the flat black, gold-trimmed frame. The back has a string hanger and a foil label which reads "A Universal Original, copyrighted by Universal Statuary Co. Chicago 22".

The plaque is in excellent condition with no chips, flakes, dings, scratches, or damage. The back has a few very minor scuffs to the black paint, simple rub wear from hanging against the wall. Solid plaster and very heavy.
