Chased Copper Mayan Aztec Calendar Plate or Charger

$24 USDChased Copper Mayan Aztec Calendar Plate or Charger

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper
This solid copper charger or wall plate has a hand chased Aztec calendar design tooled in high relief in the center. It measures 11" diameter and has a ring hanger on the back. There are no marks as to maker or origin that I can find. Upon close examination you can see three slight bends or bumps to the rim area of the soft copper. The patina is a little uneven as shown.
Craftsman Copper Arts and Crafts 14 Inch Charger Plate

$135 USDCraftsman Copper Arts and Crafts 14 Inch Charger Plate

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Arts & Crafts:Craftsman
This 14" diameter hand wrought copper tray or plate is a beautiful example of the Arts & Crafts style of the Craftsman Company of Los Angeles and Laguna Beach California, also known as Craftsman Studios. The shading and light of the warm patina are by design, and the slightly peaked tool marks in the center form the shape of a rose. The back has a wall hanger and protective felt dots, and is marked with the hammer & anvil logo, with the words "Hand Made, Craftsman Co, 903". The finish is in very ...
Set 3 Solid Copper Mixing Beating Bowls

$54 USDSet 3 Solid Copper Mixing Beating Bowls

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Kitchen
These three solid copper mixing bowls were used for beating egg whites - the copper and egg white create a chemical reaction that helps stiffen the mixture quickly. They're fine for dry mixing too. The sizes are 8-1/4" diameter by 4-1/2" deep, 7-1/4" by 3-3/4", and 5-3/4" by 3". They date to the 1980s, are medium weight and have brass hanging rings - not the highest quality you could buy then, but certainly not the lowest. The bowls were used and all have some minor surface scratches or light ...
Swedish Copper 3 Legged Tea Kettle with Original Label

$55 USDSwedish Copper 3 Legged Tea Kettle with Original Label

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Kitchen
This vintage hammered copper hearth tea kettle was made in Sweden in the 1950s or 1960s. It stands over 9" tall to the top of the lid finial and measures 10" across to the tip of the handle. The body is about 5-1/2" diameter. The spade iron legs and heart base handle are applied with copper rivets. The spotless interior is tinned, and is still bright and shiny, quite likely never used. The outside finish is clean and shiny too with no scratches or dings. The underside still has its original foil ...
Saltillo Mexico Hand Wrought Copper Creamer and Sugar Set

$49 USDSaltillo Mexico Hand Wrought Copper Creamer and Sugar Set

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Kitchen
This heavy Mexican hand wrought copper creamer and sugar set looks very Arts and Crafts style with its riveted brass band decoration, but it probably dates to the 1950s or a bit later. The wide mouth cream pitcher is 4-1/4" high, the elephant ears double handled open sugar is just under 3-1/2" tall. Both pieces are marked on the bottoms: Plateria Saltillo, Saltillo Com., Hecho en Mexico. They have some light marks from use and storage and the sugar rim has a little bump as shown in the second ...
Craftsman Copper Folded Pod Shape Console Bowl

$80 USDCraftsman Copper Folded Pod Shape Console Bowl

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Arts & Crafts:Craftsman
Craftsman Studios made more than one size of this hammered and folded copper pod console or flower planter bowl, and this is the largest at 15" by 6-1/4" by 5" high. It rests on a two-part curled base. A previous owner liked her copper shiny and decided to polish the exterior but it looks like she left the inside alone - there's a water line near the rim and some light verdigris. There are no visible dings or scratches. Marked Hand Made Craftsman Co. with the hammer and anvil logo.
Sheaves of Wheat Copper Kitchen Loaf Mold

$14 USDSheaves of Wheat Copper Kitchen Loaf Mold

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Kitchen
This vintage stainless steel lined copper loaf-shaped food mold is 8" by 4-3/4" wide by 2-3/4" deep. The four sides are fluted with wide ribs, a bundle of wheat is embossed in high relief on the front. The mold is clean and appears unused inside with a bright, shiny lining, but the outside has a spotty patina as well as light surface scratches or scuff marks to the lacquered finish (these do not appear to go down to the copper itself). The lacquer needs to come off, then upon polishing the ...
Copper Cookware Set 4 Pieces Plus Lids

$129 USDCopper Cookware Set 4 Pieces Plus Lids

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Kitchen
This 7-piece set of stainless steel lined copper cookware was made in the early to mid 1980s in Korea. It includes an 8-3/4" diameter by 4" deep Dutch oven style cooking pot, an 8-3/4" diameter skillet, a 7-3/8" by 3" deep saucepan, a 6" diameter by 2-1/4" deep saucepan, and three lids. The saucepans each have their own lid, the skillet and large pot share a lid. It was a moderately priced set when new, not professional quality but not the cheapest copper cookware you could buy either. All of ...
1930s Revere Copper Egg Boiler with Whistling Chick Finial

$75 USD1930s Revere Copper Egg Boiler with Whistling Chick Finial

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Kitchen
This is a scarce piece of 1930s copper cookware by Revere - the official name was "Chic Whistling Egg Cooker", complete with yellow plastic chick whistler on top. The two pans fit together similar to a double boiler. The upper pot has a center pillar with water line markings for soft, medium, and hard cooked eggs. There's also a water fill line on the outside of the lower pot. You fill the pans with water and heat. When the eggs are cooked to the desired hardness or softness, the chick whistles. ...
Swirled Copper Kitchen Mold

$25 USDSwirled Copper Kitchen Mold

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Kitchen
This 4-1/4" diameter by 1-3/4" deep swirled copper food or jelly mold isn't marked but the nice weight and dull tinned lining leads me to believe it's German, dating to the 1940s or 1950s. It hung above a kitchen stove for many years and has developed a spotty patina. I never polish vintage copper because I know many collectors prefer the patina, but the buyer may wish to do so to even up the coloring. The lining is in good condition and should be food safe, the mold has no dents, dings, or ...
German Copper Swirl Turk's Head Food Mold

$49 USDGerman Copper Swirl Turk's Head Food Mold

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Kitchen
This antique copper food head mold has the traditional Turk's Head design and shape, just like a Kugelhopf cake mold but without the center tube. It measures a little over 5" diameter by 2-5/8" deep, and has a substantial weight for its size. The top is marked Germany below the hanging ring. The inside of the mold is tin lined. The lining is not in bad condition at all considering the mold is between 80 and 100 years old or more, but you should not use it for food preparation as it may contain ...
Set of 2 Copper Candy or Individual Molds, Flower Dome and Swirl

$28 USDSet of 2 Copper Candy or Individual Molds, Flower Dome and Swirl

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Kitchen
These attractive vintage copper molds are either individual custard or larger candy molds, 3" diameter. One is a domed swirl with a flower at the center, the other has a flat top swirl design with fluted sides. They are lined with a food safe zinc alloy and have brass hanging rings. The molds are unmarked. Not new but in very good condition with no scratches or dings. Four identical sets available, price is per set of two.
Turkish Copper Ebelskiver Baking Pan

$40 USDTurkish Copper Ebelskiver Baking Pan

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Kitchen
If this primitive looking copper baking vessel had been made in Europe, it would be called an ebelskiver. I'm not sure what they call it in Turkey. It measures a big 14" diameter by 2-5/8" deep and has 13 round depressions in the bottom ostensibly for dumplings, popovers, or rolls. No one would use this pan for cooking of course, its modern day function is purely decorative. The pan is vintage but not antique - I'd say 35 to 40 years old, maybe less. The importers of these primitive style ...
Hand Wrought Deep Copper Jelly or Cake Mold

$69 USDHand Wrought Deep Copper Jelly or Cake Mold

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Kitchen
This lovely hand wrought domed copper food mold has a subtle hammered texture with a slightly flower shaped design in the center rising from the arched designs in the base. It's 5-3/4" diameter by just over 4" deep, unmarked but of European origin, either German or England. The inside has a dull tin or zinc lining which is worn in a few spots. I'm not sure if it's food safe, though there is some light baking residue inside. The copper has a few minor dents which simply blend in with the texture ...
Hammered Aluminum 2 Tier Tidbit Tray Fruit Pattern

$22 USDHammered Aluminum 2 Tier Tidbit Tray Fruit Pattern

Collectibles:Metalware:Aluminum
I don't know who made this vintage aluminum giftware tidbit tray server but it's very nice, despite my bad photos. About 11-1/2" high, the upper plate is 7-3/4" diameter, the lower 11". Both plates have intaglio incised fruit and flower designs in the centers and ruffled crimped rims. The texture is faintly hammered, the aluminum is shiny. The nicely detailed fruit centers do not have as much background darkness as the photos show, I think those are shadows. The tidbit tray is in very good ...
Art Deco Copper Stacked Fan Bookends

$54 USDArt Deco Copper Stacked Fan Bookends

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper
These vintage solid copper bookends have an Art Deco layered or stacked diamond or fan design, each layer with a progressively darker patina and texture to give depth. They're small size, 3-1/2" high by 3" wide. The bookends are not marked. One has a slight dip in the back, neither has any scratches or serious wear but the patina is somewhat uneven as shown.
Italian Fluted Copper Kitchen Mold

$28 USDItalian Fluted Copper Kitchen Mold

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Kitchen
This copper jelly mold is marked Italy near the rim. It's 4-3/4" diameter by 1-3/4" deep, in a fluted shape with a bullseye ring in the center. The inner tin lining has some wear and oxidation, and there are some light surface scuffs from storage on the top that are not deep. The mold has a nice warm brown patina.
Wilton Armetale Pewter Bless This House Bread Tray Mint in Box

$25 USDWilton Armetale Pewter Bless This House Bread Tray Mint in Box

Collectibles:Metalware:Pewter:Armetale
This 9-1/2" by 6-1/2" bread tray was made by Wilton. It's made of a lead free, food safe cast pewter alloy called Aremtale. The tray is decorated with an image of a house surrounded by hearts and vines below the phrase Bless This House - very 1980s countryish, as befits the company's 1980s CountryWare line. It's mint and unused in the original box.
1920s Deep Bubble Form Copper Jelly Mold

$55 USD1920s Deep Bubble Form Copper Jelly Mold

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Kitchen
I love this circa 1920s copper mold for both its form and well-worn character. It's fairly large at 7-1/4" diameter by 4" deep and has an unusual bubble-like petal design around the sides topped by a 10-petal flower in the center. Rather than the classic dome style of this era, it has more of a deep bowl shape which gives it more of a presence when hung on the kitchen wall. There's an inconsequential ding or two to the sides and rim, the tinned lining is a little worn and scraped, and the ...
Coppercraft Guild Copper Bell Coin Bank

$15 USDCoppercraft Guild Copper Bell Coin Bank

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper
A vintage coin bank in the shape of a bell, made by Coppercraft Guild in the 1950s. It's 8-1/2" high to the top of the black wooden handle, about 3-3/8" diameter at the base. The coin slot is near the top of the bell. In good condition with light patina and one shallow, barely detectable depression at the top of the bell below the handle (upper right side of the glare spot in the first photo).
Benedict Studios Athenic Bronze Copper Cameo Bud Vase

$55 USDBenedict Studios Athenic Bronze Copper Cameo Bud Vase

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper
A lovely solid copper bud vase in the Athenic Bronze line by Benedict Studio, a New York art metal shop operating during the Arts and Crafts period and affiliated with Onondaga Metal Shops. It's 5-1/4" tall and is decorated with a copper cameo on the front. There's a faint pinpoint depression in the side, minor white freckling specks on the underside plus two smaller dots midway between the cameo and vase. Mild verdigris inside.
Craftsman Hammered Copper Silent Butler

$34 USDCraftsman Hammered Copper Silent Butler

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Arts & Crafts:Craftsman
I believe a person could start a collection based solely on the different shapes and forms of silent butlers (also called crumbers or ash receivers) made by Craftsman Studios of California. This one is a smaller form, about 9 inches long from the curved handle to the rim. The rounded 5-1/2" octagonal shaped cover has random hammer marks, the bowl is a crimped flower petal shape with folded corners. The underside of the lid is marked with the hammer and anvil logo "Hand Made, Craftsman Co." and ...
Craftsman Arts and Crafts Square Copper Silent Butler

$65 USDCraftsman Arts and Crafts Square Copper Silent Butler

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Arts & Crafts:Craftsman
This copper silent butler or crumb catcher was made by the former Craftsman Studios of Laguna Beach California under their Craftsmen mark. It's a transitional piece, moving from the Mission Arts and Crafts period to the Art Deco era, as evidenced by the modern square stepped shape combined with the hand made wooden handle, folded corners, and hand wrought finish details. The pan portion is 5" square by 1-1/4" deep, overall length including the painted wooden handle is 9-1/2". The inside has some ...
2 Hammered Copper and Brass Aztec Design Mugs

$32 USD2 Hammered Copper and Brass Aztec Design Mugs

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper
A pair of Mid Century Mexican hammered copper large mugs with brass handles, riveted brass bands and a brass Aztec calendar medallion high relief on each. They are 4-1/4" high by 3-1/4" diameter at the rims. The inside is plated with a silver colored metal which is slightly worn near the rims. The bottoms are marked with the initials RZS and Hecho en Mexico. The copper is thick and heavy, the handles and trim securely applied. One mug has a little more patina than the other, a quick polish with ...
Child's Toy Copper 4 Piece Turkish Coffee Set

$22 USDChild's Toy Copper 4 Piece Turkish Coffee Set

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper
A child size Turkish Coffee set in solid copper for play or display. I purchased the set used at a flea market in Seattle in the 1980s and was never sure if it was just a decorative item or actually produced as a toy, nor if the pieces actually belong together or were a marriage. I assume it dates to the 1970s or late 1960s though it may be older. The set includes a 7" diameter embossed tray, a 2-1/8" deep wooden-handled Ibrik pot with pour spout , an unhandled 1-3/4" high cup, and a 3-3/4" ...
JS&S English Art Nouveau Copper Crumb Sweeper Tray

$75 USDJS&S English Art Nouveau Copper Crumb Sweeper Tray

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper
This copper dust pan or crumb sweeper tray was made by Joseph Sankey & Son of Birmingham England in the early 1900s. Their pieces are often signed JS&S but this one has their less common mark depicting the figure of Neptune in a circle. The tray was part of the company's Neptune Art Ware line. It measures 9" by 9" and is decorated with an organic pods design in high relief. The registered design number 381305 is stamped on the back. This number was issued in 1901. It has some corrosion on the ...
Craftsman Mission Arts and Crafts Copper Silent Butler

$52 USDCraftsman Mission Arts and Crafts Copper Silent Butler

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Arts & Crafts:Craftsman
This hammered copper silent butler or crumb catcher was made by Craftsman Studios of Laguna Beach and Los Angeles California. The tool marks on the lid resemble a rose, the lower tab of the curled thumb catch is arrowhead shaped. About 6" diameter by 9-1/2" long from the handle. The patina shows signs of past polishing to the lid and body but the handle retains its original patina. The inside shows signs of use. The inside of the lid is marked "Hand Made Craftsman Co. 546" with the hammer and ...
Craftsman Copper Cigarette Box with Horse Head

$65 USDCraftsman Copper Cigarette Box with Horse Head

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Arts & Crafts:Craftsman
A solid copper cigarette box made by Craftsman Company (also known as Craftsman Studios) of Los Angeles and Laguna Beach, California, circa 1930s to early 1940s. The box measures 4-1/4" by 3-1/4" by one inch deep, with the hinged lid overhanging the box a bit on all sides. Embossed in high relief on the lid is an image of a horse head. The box has a spotty patina and was lightly polished at some point. It's in good condition with no dents or scratches. The underside is marked with the hammer and ...
Craftsman Studios Copper Tray with Desert Cactus Scene

$89 USDCraftsman Studios Copper Tray with Desert Cactus Scene

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Arts & Crafts:Craftsman
Beautiful 1920s copper serving tray by Craftsman Studios of Laguna Beach California, 11-1/2" diameter not including the raised handles. In the center is a stylized Western desert scene of cactus, sagebrush, mountains and sun in a triangle. Someone polished the tray long ago - you can see the white polish residue in the tool mark seams of the design, but it's re-developing a warm patina. There are no scratches or dings, the tray is in very good condition. Marked with the hammer and anvil logo ...
Craftsman Studios 1930s Copper Wave Form Bookends with Palm Trees

$78 USDCraftsman Studios 1930s Copper Wave Form Bookends with Palm Trees

Collectibles:Metalware:Copper:Arts & Crafts:Craftsman
This is an interesting set of tropical themed copper bookends from Craftsman Studios of Laguna Beach and Los Angeles, California. They're curved over like ocean waves, with an engraved beach scene of island palm trees. No doubt made for the California tourist trade in the late 1930s to early 1940s. The bookends are 4" high by 4-3/4" wide. The curved tops and backs have some finish wear as if from many years of faithful dusting, which has caused the lacquered finish to disappear in these areas, ...
