Vintage 14kt & Jade "Cocktail" Ring, CA.1950's

This is one outrageous ring...14kt mount, with the European marking of "585" for the gold standard, holding up a Pale Green Jade Cabochon with 8 "fingers" of gold grasping it firmly. And there are initials of the Goldsmith on the inside of the band: "EPF".

The design and execution are quite immaculate and detailed, and the condition is Excellent...I don't think this ring was ever worn!!

The bottom of the Gold Band has flat hips that hold the ring snug to each finger on either side.....the ring being so large and top heavy, this is a great engineering design!! It will not flop around on your finger at all!!

The stone is approx. 5/8" x 3/8" Jade Cabochon in an Apple Green (is that Granny Apple??) color, with a few darker green striations....and the size is approx. 4.5 to 5...depending on the size of your knuckle...

This Ring would go perfectly with a similar color "Apple Martini" in hand......yummm....I can taste it now...off to the Party we go...!! And depending on the light source, it is a bit paler in color, or darker...

It will definitely make a "Retro" statement. It's difficult to find such Vintage Rings in perfect condition!! Buy it now before that other "Sex & the City" lady grabs it.!!
