This unusual and "dimensional" brooch with a six-sided shape, has evidence of hand hammering on the center ball and around the edges....Arts & Crafts period for sure, CA.1910-1920...and European I am guessing....a stylized "flower"..or a "molecule"?

The size is approx. 2.25" wide x 2" tall, with a solid back.

I cannot find any markings on this piece, and the material seems to be possibly pewter?? this one is surely a stumper??

The condition is excellent but for a few minor scratches from wear or polishing....it has a very nice mellow patina right now!!
