18th Century Delft Faience Charger, Peacock Pattern

This wonderful 18th Century Delft Faience Charger is in the favorite "Peacock" Pattern......and marked on the reverse "BP" (De Vergulde Bloompot)....and was handmade CA.1760-1780. The size is approx. 12" diameter.

A very bold and popular pattern in deep Cobalt Blue, and in Excellent Condition for its age (showing only the typical glaze chips and wear on the yellow rim).

This "Soft" body type ware is very difficult to find in good condition, especially considering that it is nearly 250 years old!!! A fabulous find for your collection, to either hang as a wall decoration, or grace your Cabinet.....
