Includes all manner of characters such as Buster Brown (began 1902), Little Orphan Annie, Howdy Doody, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Buck Rodgers, Dick Tracy, Batman, Superman, Krazy Kat, Kewpies, Joe Palooka, Pogo, the Lone Ranger, Moon Mullins, Happy Hooligan, Little Lulu, Gene Autry, Lil Abner, Dennis the Menace, Felix the Cat, Tom Corbett-Space Cadet, Peanuts, Bonzo, Blondie, and Betty Boop to name a few.

Exhaustive research of origination and artists, and hundreds of Black and White photos with captions to identify pieces and values to 1993 (publication date). Collectible items included run the gamut from actual comic strip "tear sheets", to figurines, "story-books", dinnerware, glassware, tea sets, model cars, furniture, light-switch covers, clocks, watches, game boards, pins and buttons, tins, and lunchboxes.

The "subjects" are arranged alphabetically, and characters are easy to find. Book also includes an index, an appendix with names and locations of Comic Collectors clubs and organizations, and a bibliography. Most of the specific items are photographed in black and white, however, a 10-page center section is in full color showing various "hot" collectibles.

Book is USED, in Very Good Condition. No spine crease, looks very gently used. Binding is tight, no loose or missing pages. There are some light "streaky-marks" (very small) on last page of book, could be "water stains", or something else (coffee? tea?). Does not effect the rest of the book. Some corner bumps, very light scratches on both front and back glossy covers (look very hard) and a little wrinkling along top edge.
