This Limoges sugar holder is exceptionally light - very fine and delicate porcelain, weighing only 5.1 ounces. Decorated all the way around with a very pretty design. Garlands of pink and blue flowers drape the rim and shoulders and sprays of delicate flowers 'grow' around the belly of the holder. The colors are subtle and the florals are soft. The embossed and molded handles, as well as the rim and foot, are given a nice brushing of gold. The embossed 'fleur-de-lis' emblems at the base are nice touches.

Measures 6 1/2" from handle to handle it. It carries GDA (Gerard Dufraisseix and Abbot) marks 1 and mark 4; made in early 1900s. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or loss of paint. Thanks very much for browsing in my shop!
