Splendid RS Prussia Pierced-Handle Celery Dish with Clematis Blooms

This extremely complex and curvaceous mold is very similar to Gaston's Steeple Mold 22. A lovely, pale-pink silk finish begins at the molded rim and lightens gradually toward center. Handpainted clematis blooms fill the center and are done in gorgeous shades of pink, lavender and pale yellow with impressionistic leaves and scattered buds. Delicate gold highlights the molded leaves and scrolls which have been left in white porcelain reserve.

There was a backstamp but it has worn off and only a faint trace can be seen. In excellent condition, with no loss of paint, no chips, cracks or other flaws. A very impressive 12 3/4" long, 8" wide, 2 1/2" deep. Please visit again when you're traveling through Ruby Lane!
