This pretty tin features six ladies dancing in a chain around the body of the tin; the same group is shown on both sides. The ladies all wear Greek-styled clothing and strike poses seen on countless ancient Greek art and ritual objects. Three ladies are shown in a more traditional Greek manner and three have more "modern" look!

This tin measures 4 3/4" across lid diameter and stands 4 3/4" tall. It is very good condition with minimal wear to the cylindrical body. The interior is clean and the base has minimal wear. The lid has an area where the paint has worn away, exposing the underlying white metal finish, and the overall glossy finish to the lid is gone. There are four scratches on one place of the rim edge that show the underlying silver-toned metal fabric. The creamy white acanthus trim on the lid has been very lightly yellowed with age. The base is embossed with "Container Made in Holland". Thanks for coming by for a visit!
