Adams & Co. (Pittsburgh) originated the King's Crown pattern in 1880; it was produced by U.S. Glass Co. after 1891. According to Gene Florence's Collectible Glassware from the 40s, 50s, 60s on p. 120, thumbprints are circular in the Indiana examples, but elongated in the earlier line produced by U.S. Glass Company's Tiffin plant (the molds were bought by Indiana Glass sometime around the 70's). In the example I offer here, the thumbprint form is round. Please visit me again!
