This delightful set is decorated with brightly colored, pink pink pink roses having mint green & teal blue leaves complete with thorny stems.

The demitasse/espresso cup measures 3 1/8" from handle to rim and is 2" tall; the saucer is 4 3/4" in diameter. In very good condition with no chips, nicks, cracks or hairlines. There is a small factory bubble on the saucer below the flower at the 7 o'clock position. Gold wear to the rims and handle is minor (ca. 10-20%). There is light fading to the areas under the handle and on the well of the saucer. Each piece carries a "Chugai China Made in Occupied Japan" mountain backstamp, dating to 1945-52.
