Such a perfect cup & saucer set for those who love French Country colors - pale, creamy yellow on a white porcelain ground with bands of stylized, folk-style florals in moss-green, daffodil yellow, powder- and royal-blue.

The cup measures 3" from handle to rim and is 2" tall; the saucer is 4 1/2" in diameter. In excellent condition with no chips, nicks, cracks or hairlines. Gold wear to rims, handle and inner bands is minimal - ca. 5%. The set carries an underglaze white ware monogram with star and zig-zag lines for Charles Ahrenfeldt (Gaston's Mark 5) and an overglaze decorating mark with importer's name "Wright Tyndale Van Roden, Philadelphia (Gaston's Mark 8b) - dating set to 1894-1930.
