The tray is one foot long and 8 7/8" wide; the trinket dish is 5 1/2" v 4"; the talcum bottle is 2 1/2" wide and stands 4 3/4" tall; the hair receiver is 4 1/8" across and 2 3/8" tall. All pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, nicks, cracks or hairlines. The talcum container still has it's cork stopper, albeit split. Gold wear is minor - 5-10%. Wear or fading of the handpainted flowers is minimal. The tray, dish and talcum bottle have a red "Hand Painted Stouffer" decorating mark. The 12" tray and smaller trinket dish are marked with the white ware Mark 12 "Haviland France" (Gaston) dating to 1894-1931. The hair receiver and talcum container have a whiteware mark for Uno 'Favorite' Bavaria. This latter was used for Burley & Tyrell Co., Chicago importers and wholesalers of china and glassware in the late 1800s through WWI. This company imported fine china and porcelain from European manufacturers. They sometimes used their own staff decorators; and also imported Limoges items which were decorated at their firm in Germany (ca. 1912 as B&T) or by U.S.-based firms (as for this set) such as Stouffer.
