Austrian Fan Molded 8 1/2" Teal Cabinet Plate, Greek Maidens, Ornate Gold Filigree & Medallions, After Kauffmann, Josef Riedl Beehive Mark, 1890-1918

I have two of these decorative plates available and can offer a 25% discount if both are purchased. This beautiful 8 1/2" display plate is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks, cracks or hairlines. There is very minor wear to the transfer and to the hand painted accents to the maidens' robes - 5%. Gold wear to the very ornate gold design around the complex, molded fan rim is also minimal and only in a few areas - ca. 5%. Gold wear to the two bands of stylized floral and acanthus designs is minor - ca. 10%. The beehive mark was used by the Josef Riedl decorating studio (Giesshubel, Bohemia - now Struzna, Czechia). There is also a impressed mark - an inverted 'V' and a hooked cross. I have not the identified the maker of the blank used for this plate. Thanks for taking time to look around in my shop!
