Hand Painted T&V Limoges Cup and Saucer, Fresh Spring Florals with Raspberry Trim, ca. 1890

This thin-walled, porcelain cup measures 4 1/2" from handle to rim and is 2 1/4" tall; the saucer is 5 3/4" in diameter. In very good condition with no loss or fading of color on the bright florals or lovely raspberry trim; gold wear to handle and saucer's rim is minimal (ca.) and minor on cup's rim (15%). There are no cracks or hairlines, BUT there is a small flake chip on the interior rim across from the handle. I discovered this when running my finger around the rim. I tried to get a photo of this, but it was difficult - please see the last photo to see the small white spot on the rim at far let side of the rim. The flaw does not affect the use of the cup nor its display, but I have reduced the price in half, accordingly. The set carries a green underglaze, white ware Mark 4a (T&V without 'Limoges' and dating to early 1890s) and a blue overglaze export Mark 1a (dating to early 1880s-1891) - The set dates to 1890-91.
