1909 PFB Embossed Postcard, German Children Rest after Gathering Easter Eggs, German Stamp
This appealing German "Frohliche Ostern" (Happy Easter) card is stamped and canceled Mar. 25, 1909 in Warzburg, Germany (the town where Luther translated the New Testament). The card has a message written in German and was originally mailed to Bertha Wolf at German Hospital, Brooklyn - this has been crossed out and re-addressed to Fulton, NY. The card has a PBF (Paul Finkenrath, Berlin) trademark and is identified as No. 8306 Relief. In very good condition with minimal edge and minor corner wear and rounding; there are a couple spots of postal ink on upper edge.
A pretty addition for your collection or displayed in a frame in your home or given as a gift. Thanks for stopping by!
